2011 Fellowship Recipient: Mark Laurie, MPA SPA F/PPOC


For the first time, in more than a decade, the Professional Photographer's of Canada has presented the designation of Fellow of the PPOC. In order to be considered for this designation, the member must submit a portfolio of 15 images, as well as a 7000 word thesis, which are reviewed by a qualified panel of judges. A present, the PPOC has only three other members who hold this designation.

Accreditation - Jillian Kirby


One of the benefits of membership in the Professional Photographer's of Canada's, is the ability to submit images for professional review. From the PPOC's website: "Accreditation denotes the first elevation above the general membership level, and is achieved by submitting samples of the applicant's photography to a PPOC Board of Review.
